Some stuff
Hello friends! I hope you're doing well. It's been a long time not posting. But I've been making stuff, still, and I thought it might be nice to drop in and let you know where you can find some of that stuff.
First, I feel like I am the last person in the universe to get my copy, but I'm in this year’s Baseball Prospectus Annual. I wrote a little oddity about the Toronto Blue Jays, and it's in this shiny Paul Skenes-fronted package along with so many great words. Words so good they make you pick up the book and flip directly to the section on the Miami Marlins! Which isn't something you can say about a lot of words.
I also have a comic in this winter’s issue of Geist, if you're into reading fewer words, or if you like your words accompanied by images.
And I made a comic that I also made into a little booklet, because that's what I've been into doing these days. It's called Swans, it's only four pages, and if you send me your mailing address I'll mail you one for free.
Finally: the circumstances of the world that we live in and the circumstances of my individual life last year made me feel absolutely no motivation to do anything resembling “promotion” of my “book" — like, the idea of doing so genuinely repulsed me. That being said, it is a thing that continues to exist, much to my bewilderment, and I am grateful for any time anyone has spent with it. It's amazing that anyone reads anything, honestly, let alone thousands of words from my brain.
Okay, that’s it for now! To quote David Lynch, I hope you’re all having a great time working on your favorite projects.
